Privacy

When you send a contribution we keep:

• what you wrote, and the place, language and source you chose;
• your name, only if you give it, to credit you;
• your email, only if you give it. It is never shown on the site. We use it only to ask about your contribution;
• a scrambled code made from your internet address and the date, used only to stop floods of messages. We cannot turn it back into your address.

An editor reads every contribution before anything is published. Published contributions show your name (or "Anonymous") and what you wrote, never your email.

To have your contribution or your details removed, write to us and we will remove them.

Contact address and grievance officer details will be added here before contributions open to the public.
